Description

These decadent pumpkin pie bars are so delicious, you can’t help going back for more!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Ginger
  • ½ teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Oil
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 15 ounces, weight Pumpkin Puree
  • FOR THE FROSTING:
  • 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter, Softened
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2-¼ cups Powdered Sugar

Preparation

Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon. Set aside.

With an electric mixer, combine eggs, oil, sugar and pumpkin. Mix until well combined. Slowly mix in dry ingredients until all combined.

Pour into two greased 8x8x2 pans. Bake at 350ºF for 20–25 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.

For the frosting:
With an electric mixer, beat together cream cheese, butter and vanilla until well combined. Slowly mix in the powdered sugar until all smooth and well mixed together.

Once pumpkin pie bars are cooled, frost generously with frosting.
