Description

This better than pumpkin pie. Yes, I said it: better than pumpkin pie. This dessert will be your new favorite to serve during the holidays. I guarantee it or your money back. Well, I guess since you’re not really paying me, that won’t work. But it sounded good, right?

Ingredients

  • 1 can (28 Oz. Can) Pumpkin
  • 1 can (12 Oz. Can) Evaporated Milk
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 4 teaspoons Either Pumpkin Pie Spice Or Any Combination Of Cinnamon, Ginger, Cloves, Allspice, Nutmeg
  • 1 package (18.25 Oz. Package) Cake Mix Such As Yellow, White, Butter Or Spice
  • 1-½ cup Chopped Pecans
  • ¾ cups Melted Butter Or Margarine

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 13 x 9 baking dish with non-stick spray.

Mix pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, and spices until smooth. Pour into the baking dish.

Sprinkle cake mix (dry) over the pumpkin mixture.

Sprinkle pecans over the cake mix.

Pour melted butter over top.

Bake uncovered 50 to 60 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Serve with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream or just eat it right out of the baking dish and burn your tongue.
