Description

The best fudge I’ve ever had! One of my favorites for the holidays, especially next to a hot cup of hot chocolate!!!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Sugar
  • ¾ cups Melted Butter
  • ⅔ cups Evaporated Milk
  • ½ cups Canned Pumpkin
  • 2 Tablespoons Corn Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 package White Chocolate Chips, 12 Oz
  • 1 jar Marshmallow Creme (7 Ounce Jar)
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Stir together the first 6 ingredients (the sugar through pumpkin pie spice on the above list) in a 3-4 quart sauce pan over medium-high heat and cook stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Cook stirring constantly until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees F (soft ball stage), or about 12 minutes.

Remove pan from heat; stir in remaining ingredients until well blended. Pour into a greased aluminum foil lined 9 inch square pan. Let stand about 2 hours or until completely cool. Cut into squares and enjoy!

I made this and frankly, it was too sweet, with too much pumpkin pie spice and white chocolate for my taste.. It also was a bit greasy. And I like fudge, so maybe I need to stick with chocolate and peanut butter. Always like to try new things and sorry this was not for me.
