Description

With only four ingredients this frozen yogurt could not be easier or tastier. Make sure to have graham crackers or gingersnaps to serve alongside this little treat!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Nonfat Vanilla Yogurt
  • 2 cups Pumpkin Puree
  • 3 Tablespoons Organic Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • Graham Crackers, Gingersnap Cookies, Toasted Pecans, Or Any Other Topping Of Your Liking (optional)

Preparation

In the large bowl of your stand mixer combine all four ingredients (everything except the optional toppings). Mix well until everything is combined.

Churn according to your ice cream maker’s instructions. Once done churning either eat right away or store in the freezer until desired consistency is reached.

**Top with desired goodies. I like gingersnaps, toasted pecans and a little drizzle of caramel over mine.

Yields about 2 pints.

Loved the flavor! I like to have a little dessert each night, so I portioned my churned yogurt into individual half-cup ramekins and put in the freezer. I had to get one out at least an hour before I wanted to eat it each night because the frozen yogurt was a solid block. I’m not sure if this is an issue with my ice-cream maker or the recipe. At any rate, once I realized I had to plan ahead a little, I enjoyed it. Since it’s so low-calorie, I added some dark chocolate chips. Yum! Thanks for sharing.
