Description

Our family’s favorite fall treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Canned Pumpkin
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cups Vegetable Oil
  • 1  Egg
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, oil and egg.

In a separate bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.

Dissolve baking soda with milk and stir into flour mixture. Add flour mixture to pumpkin mixture and mix well. Add vanilla and stir. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly brown and firm.

Transfer to wire rack to cool. After cooling, keep cookies in an airtight container so they don’t dry out.
