Chewy, soft, pumpkin cookies with lots of chocolate chips!
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar, then beat in egg and vanilla.
In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Alternate adding dry ingredients to the butter/sugar mixture with the pumpkin. When the dough is thoroughly combined, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets and bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
