Description

Classic turtle candy meets brownies for a perfect marriage in this rich, gooey brownie bar.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Family-size Brownie Mix (20 Ounce Box)
  • Additional Required Ingredients Specified On The Brownie Box (typically Water, Eggs And Oil)
  • 20 pieces Pretzels, Crushed
  • 1 bag Caramel-filled Hershey Kisses (or Rolos), Unwrapped, 10 Ounce Bag
  • 5 Tablespoons Caramel Sauce
  • ¼ cups Cashews, Chopped

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F. Prepare an 8×8 pan by spraying it with cooking spray or greasing it with butter.

Make the brownie batter according to package instructions. Pour half of the batter into the pan, making sure the batter coats the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle 3/4 of your crushed pretzels over the top of the batter. Place caramel Kisses (point facing down) into the batter in about 8 rows of 6 – 7 Kisses per row. Drizzle as much caramel sauce as you like over the top of the Kisses and pretzels. Pour the rest of the brownie batter on top, using a spatula to get the batter to the edges of the pan. Sprinkle the crushed cashews and the remaining pretzel bits on top. Drizzle more caramel sauce on top and place in the oven.

Bake at 350 F for 45 – 55 minutes until toothpick comes out from the center clean.
