Description

Tasty little treats that are so easy to make! I tried topping them with cashews and M&Ms in addition to the typical pecans—all tasty varieties!

Ingredients

  • 30 pieces Rolos, Unwrapped
  • 30 pieces Pecan Halves, Toasted (or Other Toppings Of Your Choice)
  • 30 pieces Butter Snap Pretzels (they Are Square)

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Place pretzels on a baking sheet and place one Rolo on each pretzel.
3. Place in the oven and bake for about 4 minutes or until chocolate becomes shiny.
4. Remove from the oven. Using a pecan half, press down on the Rolo to smash it out to cover the pretzel.
5. Cool completely.

Great idea on using other toppings. I have been making these for years with just the pecans! Thanks for the creative ideas!

mindeola– I did cashews for a friend that doesn’t like most nuts, but does like cashews and M&Ms for her daughter and my son that don’t like nuts.

My family loves these! I like to top the ROLO with another pretzel , since I dont like nuts. Great idea on the M and M’s too.

I made these for teachers gift bags and if you prefer milk chocolate to dark chocolate, these are great tasting. I personally preferred dark chocolate melting disks and they are much less expensive to make than with rolos. My favorite topping with rolos is glazed pecans to add extra sweetness and crunch!
