This was the first Pecan pie I have ever made and it was so yummy and super easy. I also used the pie crust recommended. I will be making it again.

This pie was EXCELLENT. As with a few other people who left comments on the PW page, when I first pulled it out it was all sloshy in the middle. I put the tin foil back on, turned the oven to 300, and cooked it for 15 more minutes. That fixed it!

We love pecan pie at our house and this one was delicious! I’ve never chopped pecan up for my pies and admit that I preferred them this way. Thanks so much for sharing!

We are not pecan pie folks at our house. But with the holidays coming up, my sister sent me this recipe. I had the ingredients, so I made it. I have to say, it is delicious!! I shared two pieces and savored the rest here. Awesome Recipe, I’m making it again tonight!

Very easy and VERY delicious! This will be my go-to pecan pie recipe from now on. I made two last night – one to eat now and one to save for Thanksgiving.

Made this for Thanksgiving and it was a BIG hit! Everyone said it was the best Pecan Pie they had ever eaten.
I only had 3/4 cup of Corn Syrup so I added 1/4 cup of Maple Syrup (the real kind) and it still turned out great!

First attempt at a pecan pie and just like the other comments, it was easier than I anticipated. The first person that tried that pie said that if they could have, they would have eaten the entire thing themselves. After hearing this, everyone rushed over to grab a piece before it was gone. It was the best pecan pie I have ever had and I will be making TWO for Christmas this year

Love this pie! It is easy to make, doesn’t require crazy ingredients or loads of time, and comes out amazing. Seriously. I was told it rivaled Grand Traverse Pie Company’s Pecan Pie

After recently making a last ditch effort to master pie crust, I was successful! (Thanks to the Pie Maven.) Now I want to make pies all the time. This was my first pecan pie. I used pecan halves instead of chopped, but otherwise followed the recipe. DELICIOUS!!! I had a piece with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and I don’t think I could eat the gooey sweetness without some ice cream to cut the sugar. Mmmmm…

Made this pie yesterday- my first ever attempt at pecan pie- and it turned out wonderful! If I had known just how easy it was, I would have tried it before. Will definitely be making this again!

Made a “practice pie” before thanksgiving and it lasted less than an hour. My husband and 2 kids polished it off (I may have helped a little). Have been asked, begged, ordered to make this pie 4 times since thanksgiving. This is absolutely the BEST pecan pie recipe I have tasted and my family agrees.

Well…pecan pie is not my favorite pie and I’ve never made one before. I have tasted several other’s recipes. I wanted to bake and had all the ingredients, so I tried it. Not only was it simple to prepare, it was delicious! I will make it again!

Do you use dark brown sugar or light brown? Or does it really matter?

has anyone ever substituted walnuts for pecans for this? I have a bunch of walnuts and have had walnut pie before, but i wasn’t sure if this was substitutable! Thanks!

Ok, so I made this pie for one of our Thanksgiving desserts and I just have to tell you that it was AMAZING! I also made a pumpkin and an apple and of the three, this was the winner hands down! It was the only one of the 3 that had NO leftovers!! Will defintely be making it again and again!!
