Description

I have no idea where this recipe came from, but in our family we always made this at holiday time. It is so yummy!

A yummy fruit “salad” or dessert. Light and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 containers Any Kind Of Cool Whip
  • 1 can Cherry Pie Filling (21 Oz. Can)
  • 1 can (20 Oz. Size) Pineapple Chunks, Drained
  • 2 cans Mandarin Oranges, Drained (Small Or Large Cans; I Like The Large Cans Because The Mandarins Are My Favorite!)
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 Oz. Can)

Preparation

Stir all ingredients together in a large bowl until well mixed. When well mixed, it will be the color pink throughout.

Best if refrigerated overnight to set.

Also, one time I made a variation of this using Blueberry Pie Filling. It became “Blue Salad!” But this was not as good as with the Cherry Pie filling. I no longer mess with perfection!

Enjoy!

I use the regular sized containers of Cool Whip – two of them. I guess you could also use one big one.

Thanks for rating my banana pudding. I think it is alot like hers also, but I like to add the Vanilla extract and nutmeg. It makes it a little richer! Her is amazing to! Your Pink Salad sounds awesome~!

I have almost the same recipe…my FAVORITE dessert. Mine calls for sour cream, and I’ve never made it with mandarin oranges. Maybe I’ll try that some time.
