Description

Yummy frosting with a tart, yet refreshing pink lemonade bite.

Perfect on Pink Lemonade Cake or plain ole white or yellow cake too! Please see my recipe for “Pink Lemonade Cake” in my TastyKitchen recipe box.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Powdered Sugar
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 4 Tablespoons Frozen Pink Lemonade Concentrate, Slightly Thawed
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 whole Lemon, Zested
  • 3 drops Red Food Coloring

Preparation

Combine powdered sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl. Beat until fluffy. Add all other ingredients (except the food coloring) and mix well. Add red food coloring at the end, and stir until well blended.

Frost cooled cakes and eat any frosting leftovers with a good-sized spatula.

*Note: This will frost two 9″ round cakes. To frost 10-12″ inch cakes, double the ingredients.

I have the cake in the oven as I type this… Can’t wait to share it with our friends tonight.
*But, one question, the frosting description says cream cheese frosting with a refreshing tart lemonade bite, is there supposed to be cream cheese in the recipe? It is not listed as an ingredient. I will mix up without and taste test, if I think I need the cream cheese I will add…
However, thanks for sharing, can’t wait to eat cake!
