Description

Quick and delicious and perfect for those peanut butter and chocolate attacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • ¾ cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, and sugars, mixing with electric mixer until well combined. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Next add all dry ingredients, except chocolate chips and beat well.

Pour into a 11″x 15″ baking pan and press until evenly spread into pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over evenly.

Bake for 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted comes out clean. Cool and cut into squares.
Enjoy!

Goodness, I just realized I forgot to give an oven mitt rating. I give them five out of five! :)

These are delicious and so easy to make! I mixed in the chocolate chips too and the whole batch was gone in a day. I’ll be making them again soon.

GREAT! I made this for a quick weeknight get-together. I love the flavors, and the mix of textures. I like chocolate… a lot… so I added some mini chocolate chips in the batter, and I’m glad I did, because I think I would have been disappointed if I hadn’t. Good, easy recipe.

I made these last night and they were great! I added about 1/2 cup of each chopped walnuts and sliced almonds and I made them as cookies rather than bars. My husband ate 5 of them before dinner and said that they reminded him of his Mom’s… a very good thing! Thank You! This will be a repeat.
