Description

Peanut butter and chocolate. Does it get any better?

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Butter
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • ⅓ cups Peanut Butter
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Quick Cooking Oatmeal
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • ½ cups Powdered Sugar
  • ¼ cups Peanut Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Cream

Preparation

Cream butter and sugars. Blend in egg, peanut butter, soda, salt and vanilla. Blend in flour and oatmeal. Spread in a greased 9×13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand for 5 minutes, then spread melted chocolate chips evenly over base. Combine topping ingredients and drizzle over the top of the chocolate. Swirl with a knife. Cool and cut into squares.
