Description

My favorite combination: peanut butter and chocolate. What a romantic and mutually-benefitting relationship these two have. They are the perfect example of a couple in true l-o-v-e. What better way to satisfy a late-night craving for something sweet and salty than a nice, bite size treat? This is a dessert makeover with healthy fats and only 45 calories per truffle. Who wouldn’t want to indulge, indulge, and indulge some more?

Ingredients

  • 6 Tablespoons Semi-sweet Organic Chocolate Chips, Melted
  • ½ cups Salted Pretzel Sticks, Finely Chopped
  • ¼ cups Crunchy All-natural Peanut Butter
  • ¾ cups Rolled Oats

Preparation

Heat chocolate chips in a microwaveable bowl for 60 seconds, stopping every 20 seconds to stir. Remove from the microwave and stir with a spatula until all chips are melted. Add chopped pretzels to chocolate bowl and cover entirely. Add the peanut butter to chocolate-pretzel mixture and stir together. Fold in rolled oats, stirring mixture together until all ingredients are combined.

With a spoon, round off 20 truffles and place on a freezable pan (I lined mine with wax paper to avoid sticking). Let freeze for an hour before serving.
