Description

These aren’t your typical brownie. They use peanut butter instead of chocolate, but you can’t have brownies without chocolate (in my opinion, at least) so there are morsels of yummy chocolate chips throughout.

Ingredients

  • 1-⅓ cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Butter Or Margarine, Melted
  • ½ cups Peanut Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • 1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • ¾ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation

In large bowl, beat brown sugar, butter or margarine, peanut butter, vanilla, and eggs until well blended. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; mix well. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Spread batter into a greased pan and bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

I just put a batch in the oven and I’m sold with the batter!!! It’s the best batter I’ve licked clean from the bowl in a long time. I can’t wait for them to come out of the oven!!! Thanks for sharing this recipe.
