Description

I’ve been making these for about 20 years and they are always a big hit. They’re best after they’ve fully set up (overnight).

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Peanut Butter
  • 4 ounces, fluid Margarine
  • 1-½ cup Sugar
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • ½ teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 6 ounces, fluid Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Mix peanut butter and margarine with an electric mixer. Blend in sugar gradually. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in vanilla. Blend in flour with a spoon.

Spread ina greased 13″x9″ pan and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Smooth some batter over the chips but don’t press down because they will sink when cooking and all be on the bottom.

Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes. Let cool COMPLETELY.

Oh, my gosh, I can’t stop looking at these. Definitely this weekend. I see they have no leavening but the eggs, so do they come out with a cakey texture or are they more dense? Either way, they look absolutely lovely.
