Description

These would make a great bake sale item. They are approximately .30 cents per serving, and kids love them. Go ahead and make them for your family today!

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cups Butter
  • ⅔ cups Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 bag (11.5 Oz. Size) Milk Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease a 13×9 inch pan.

Cream butter, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add vanilla, mix. Next add all the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Spread batter in greased pan, bake at 350 degrees F for 35–45 minutes or until the edges are just starting to turn golden brown. You don’t want to overcook this, so I usually take it out of the oven at 35 minutes. They will be chewier.

These are in my oven and in a few days, they will be on their way to some deserving marines and sailors! The batter tastes great, so I can only imagine what the finished product will taste like!

These really are nice. Chewy and satisfying but I agree they need more peanut butter flavor. They’re more like a Blondie than cake also. I’ll make them again sometime and see what I can do to boost the peanut butter POW but they really were good and worth making again! :)

While very good, I could use more of a peanut butter flavor. These are very fast and easy to make. I know they will be enjoyed by all who eat them!
