Description

It’s peach season! Which means peach cobbler is a dessert you have to make! Filled with brown sugar peaches and a butter topped cobbler, and served with some vanilla ice cream, your house will be raving about this easy but decadent dessert!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CRUMBLE:
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ⅛ teaspoons Salt
  • 8 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1  Egg
  • 4 Tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream
  • FOR THE PEACH FILLING:
  • 6  Peaches, Pitted And Cut Into Large Cubes
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ⅓ cups Walnuts, Crushed

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

In a medium-sized bowl, add flour. sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut butter into cubes and add to your flour mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, press butter into flour until it resembles a crumble mixture. Add an egg, and mix together. Add whipping cream, 1 tablespoon at a time, until flour is no longer loose. (It will be sticky.)

In a large bowl, add peaches, brown sugar, sugar, baking powder, and walnuts. Mix. Add peach filling into a pie dish, or whatever dish you want to use. Top with crumble mixture and spread out to cover all the peaches.

Bake 40–50 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
