Description

The grapefruit soda-based tequila cocktail in popsicle form. Yes, please!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cups Water
  • 2-½ cups Freshly Squeezed Grapefruit Juice (for 2 1/2 Cups You'll Need About 4 Large Grapefruits)
  • ½ cups Lime Juice
  • ⅓ cups Tequila
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt
  • 12  Popsicle (sticks)

Preparation

In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir sugar into water until sugar is fully dissolved. Set aside to cool.

In a large bowl or pitcher, combine grapefruit juice, lime juice, tequila and sea salt. Add simple syrup and stir. Pour carefully into popsicle molds. Recipe makes 10-12 standard sized popsicles.

Freeze for 1 hour before inserting popsicle sticks into molds. Freeze 12 hours total before serving (less if you swap tequila for water or club soda).
