Description

Nothin’ says lovin’ like Pillsbury crescent rolls full of hidden chocolate morsels, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 container Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 cup Ghiaradelli Semi-sweet Chocolate Pieces
  • ⅓ cups Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. For ease of preparation, use two small bowls. In one, place the chocolate morsels. In the other, mix the sugar and cinnamon.

Open crescent roll package and line 4 of them up with the triangle point away from you. Along the widest edge, place about 1 tablespoon or more of chocolate morsels, pressing down gently into the dough. Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of sugar mixture over the top. Continue with each crescent roll.

Roll each crescent roll to the end and gently dip in the sugar mixture, placing on a cookie sheet afterward. When all 8 are complete, bake according to package directions, or at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes.

These are so good I requested them as my Mother’s Day breakfast in bed! Can we do 12 mitt ratings?

I’m sitting here in VA waiting for our 6-12″ of snow and thinking I sure would like to make something easy and chocolatey! Done! Thanks for the recipe.
