This is one of my family’s favorite dessert. It is a dessert that I am usually required to make for all family get-togethers. This is a must try. There are a few steps to this process, but in the end, the steps are very much worth it.
1. Crush Oreos in a bag, and melt margarine. Mix together, place in a cake pan. Let cool and harden. Usually allow 30 minutes for this.
2. Mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and one cup of Cool Whip. Spread on the hardened layer of crust.
3. Mix the chocolate pudding according to instructions, using the milk included in the ingredient list. Spread on the white layer. Let the pudding set and spread the remaining Cool Whip on top of the pudding layer.
Note: the original recipe called for a 9-ounce tub of Cool Whip, but I found that the remainder amount was jut not enough to spread on top. I like more, so it is all up to you.
Enjoy!
