Description

This fudge has actually been stolen at family gatherings and hidden for someone’s selfish consumption! It’s that good.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Evaporated Milk
  • ¼ cups White Corn Syrup
  • ½ sticks Real Butter
  • ⅛ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

Mix sugar, milk, syrup, butter and salt together in a large saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Return pan to heat and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla; beat until slightly stiff. Pour onto a buttered platter. Let set a couple of hours and cut into squares.

Hi Shari! I have a gas cooktop and usually need to turn mine up to medium high to get the boil going. Good luck with the fudge.

I was wondering if you bring this to a boil on med. heat or higher?

This fudge was simple and delicious! Next time I’m going to swirl melted chocolate on top before it sets to make it like a Reeses!

The photo does this fudge no justice! I was afraid it was going to be a dry fudge but wanted to try it anyway since it was an easy recipe. Boy, am I glad I did! I won’t be trying any of the other PB Fudge recipes I’ve flagged – this is awesome and will be a regular treat for special occasions. So, so good!
