Description

This was one of the first things my husband and I baked together 5 Thanksgivings ago, while dating! I made the crust, he made the pie.

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cups Butter Or Margarine
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Flour
  • 3 whole Eggs, Beaten
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 whole Unbaked 9-inch Pie Shell

Preparation

Place butter, sugar, flour, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla in a blender. Blend at medium speed until thoroughly blended. Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees. Test by inserting a toothpick into the center; if it comes out clean, it’s done!

Place on a rack to cool completely before serving.
