Description

I came up with these cookies when I looked in my baking drawer and realized I did not have enough of one thing to make a whole batch of cookies. I combined several recipes and came up with these winners, they are really good and packed full of yummy treats.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Margarine Or Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 cups Quick Cooking Oats
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ¾ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups Golden Raisins
  • ½ cups Dried Cranberries
  • ½ cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • ½ cups Chopped Walnuts
  • ½ cups Coconut

Preparation

Beat margarine, sugars, eggs and vanilla for 5 minutes.

Combine dry ingredients, add slowly to creamed mixture.

Stir in fruits, chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes. Cool on racks. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.

Note: You can use any combination of dried fruits, nuts and candies you like.
