Description

Not your average chocolate bark, with only 4 ingredients, you can whip this out in no time! Delicious and simple, its been a family favorite and THE hit dessert of any party for years!

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 bag (12 Oz. Bag) Milk Chocolate Chips
  • ½ boxes (16 Oz. Box) Saltine Crackers

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray your cookie sheet with non-stick spray generously so the ooey gooey doesn’t stick!

Place the saltine crackers (around 2 sleeves) all along the bottom of the cookie sheet so the bottom of the sheet is covered. You may have to gently break a few crackers to fill in the edges.

Next, heat up the butter and sugar over medium heat until the mixture is bubbling. Pour this mixture all over the crackers on the cookie sheet.

Put the cookie sheet in the oven and bake for 9-10 minutes. Right after you remove the cookie sheet from the oven, pour the chocolate chips evenly over the top of the crackers. Once it sits for about 30 seconds, the chips will begin to melt. Take a spoon and spread the melted chocolate chips all over the crackers.

Place in the fridge/freezer until cool.

Once it is cool enough to handle and the chocolate is settled, start breaking the bark into bite-sized pieces.

Keep in the fridge until ready to serve!

I promise, these will be a huge hit at your next party and everyone will be surprised that crackers, butter, sugar and chocolate actually taste wonderful together!
