Description

Nancy’s Peanut Butter Pie. Simple, silky and oh-so sweet. PB lovers look no further, this pie is the business.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 4 ounces, weight Softened Cream Cheese
  • ½ cups Confectioners Sugar
  • 1 container (8 Ounces) Cool Whip
  • 1 whole Premade Pie Crust
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk, If Needed (If The Filling Mix Feels Too Thick, You Can Add 2 Tablespoons Of Milk–This May Depend On The Type Of Peanut Butter You Are Using)

Preparation

In large bowl, combine peanut butter, cream cheese and confectioners sugar. With a rubber spatula, fold in Cool Whip. Once the Cool Whip is fully incorporated, pour the mix into a premade pie crust and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

My kids loved this. My husband who claims a ‘sophisticated palate’ (snicker) requested a chocolate graham craker crust and unsweetened chocalte drizzle. I told him that is a glorified Reese’s Pieces pie- he is enthused by the prospect.

BTW, I used graham cracker pie crust, and real whip cream. All of it was sweet and yum.

This was perfectly delicious and EASY! So so easy. I’ve made it twice. Once for a group of mostly male coworkers and it got rave reviews. I melting chocolate chips, peanut butter and a little butter together and drizzled it over the pie before cooling it.
Thanks for this yummy recipe!

I really appreciate this recipe because its completely easy to follow, involves very few ingredients, and has a delicious result! Admittedly I am NOT a baker and typically stay away from pies since they can involve oven time. However, I tried this one out since it looked easy and yummy and there was zero chance I could start it on fire. It didn’t disappoint! My husband and sister also loved it. I didn’t really love my premade pie crust and felt it was rather bland but think that next time I will add some graham crumbles of my own on top of the crust before adding the mixture and chilling.
