Description

Easy, quick and delicious light dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Lemon Cake Mix (18 Ounce Box)
  • 3 whole Eggs, Divided
  • 1 cup Pecans, Finely Chopped
  • 1 stick Butter, Melted
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 box Powdered Sugar, 16 Ounces

Preparation

1. Mix cake mix, one egg, pecans, and melted butter. Beat by hand until well-mixed. Pat into a 9 x 13″ pan.

2. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and two eggs with hand mixer until smooth. Pour over cake batter.

3. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45-60 minutes or until top is golden brown.

4. Enjoy!

These are delicious! I am always trying “lemon bars” recipes, so I tried these, but they are NOT your usual “lemon bars”. They are a combination of dense lemon pound cake and cheesecake. Kind of!
