I make this recipe on a regular basis and these little cakes are gone in a wink. The only complaint I’ve ever received is “why didn’t you make more?”

When I lived in Paris, my favorite restaurant served the most amazing molten chocolate cakes. I’ve spent years trying to replicate them, tried dozens of recipies, and this is the winner.
This recipe was shockingly simple and easy to make, and the results were delicious. It’s dense and rich like a flourless torte, with a moist and gooey center.

So simple & yummy! It’s very rich… so we usually stretch to 6 servings. Our 8y/o loves to make these and they are really quick & easy.

So, so, so delicious and easy. This has become my go-to dessert. Great with fruit, vanilla ice cream, or by itself.

I have made this several times at home. My boyfriend requests this on a regular basis. It is super easy and quick to make! Love it!

My husband said these are his new favorite! I was thrilled because they are so easy and wonderful. Great to make for company because they look like they were a lot of trouble. We have decided that we like it better with vanilla ice cream then whipped cream.

I made this for my hubby’s birthday in March because it was chocolate and it had just 4 servings (so no leftovers since we were trying to be on a diet). Not a crumb was left and I served it with fresh whipped cream. So quick and easy. Thanks!!!

I really did not like this recipe as is, even though I made it twice – I found it too dry, too sugary, and not chocolaty enough.

This is quite possibly the best and easiest chocolate recipe ever!

My cakes are not popping out, I sprayed it a ton with cooking spray. What am I doing wrong?

I adore this recipe, I’ve made it several times! I use salted butter, and it’s the perfect amount of sweetness/saltiness. Be careful- it’s easy to overcook! Then the cakes turn out dry.

There is magic involved in this creation. Not sure how it works. Finally had the cajones to try it. WOW. This is unbelievable! and do-able! Go for it. Watch the reactions of your eaters. NB: you will get good at knowing when to take them out. The tops go from wet/slick to dry, and that’s your moment.

I made these tonight for my husband and I’s Valentine’s dinner and loved them. I was intimidated at making them because of the perfect time to take them out of the oven, but it turned out perfect. Thank you.

These were perfect! I think I might bake it 1 or 2 more minutes next time to get a little less “lava”, but my hubby and kids LOVED it!
