Description

No ice cream maker required! This easy to make, homemade, frozen treat is very refreshing. And just think of all the different toppings you could add to it—chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, even fruit!

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups Coffee
  • 1 cup Icing Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cocoa
  • 2 cups Whipping Cream
  • 3 Tablespoons Kahlua (coffee Liqueur)

Preparation

Mix together coffee, icing sugar and cocoa. Set aside to ensure sugar dissolves.
In a separate bowl, beat whipping cream until soft peaks form. Then beat in the coffee mixture. Add in Kahlua.
Place in a freezer safe container, cover and freeze for 4 hours. (I use an 8-cup Tupperware container with a lid).
Makes about 1.5 quarts ice cream. Serves 8.

This was fantastic as written. Served with a heath bar brownie at the lodge I work at. Great, rich taste and no ice cream maker needed! Thanks so much for posting!

Great recipe! Rich, smooth taste and quick to make. I added more like 1/4 c kaluha in order to taste it. Thanks for posting!
