Description

Here’s my own frozen creation of one of my favorite coffee blends: Mocha Frappuccino.

Ingredients

  • 1 quart Half-and-half
  • 8 ounces, fluid Strongly Brewed Coffee Or Espresso - Cooled
  • 2 cups Real Whipping Cream
  • 2 cans (14 Oz. Can) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 can (16 Oz. Can) Hershey's Chocolate Syrup Or Special Dark Syrup

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.

Pour into a 1 gallon ice cream freezer and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions. Don’t forget the ice cream salt and extra ice.

Freezing takes about 30 minutes in my freezer. The freezing time can be diminished by placing all ingredients in the fridge for a couple of hours prior to mixing.

Variations:

Try Mint Mocha Frappuccino by adding a teaspoon or two of mint flavor to the mix. Top with Andes Mint pieces.

Try adding crushed Heath Bar bits when serving ice cream for a Caramel Mocha Frappuccino.

Make a Mocha Chip Frapp by adding mini chocolate chips to the mix.

And for those coffee bean lovers – add some crushed coffee beans and mini chocolate chips for a Java Chip Mocha Frappuccino.

I’m in love with ice cream recipes that don’t have to be cooked. This one is a keeper!

So delicious and super easy!! Will definitely make again. My ice cream maker is a lot smaller than 1 gallon so I’ll have to cut the recipe in half (at least) next time.

Very easy and delicious! I topped mine with more chocolate syrup-I have to slow myself down when I’m eating it! I love coffee flavored ice cream and this recipe is now my go-to for when I need a fix. Thanks for sharing it!

Can I just say: YUMMMM!
I used milk instead of half-and-half and added *some* rum (didn’t really measure, just poured…) while the ice cream was already churning. GREAT taste, and great consistency after freezing for a couple of hours (I might have overdone the rum thing just a little)!

I’ve made this recipe several times and everyone (except my coffee hating mom) loves it. Good with crushed Oreos mixed in, too.
