Description

Super yummy and easy-to-make brownies.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BROWNIES:
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter
  • ⅓ cups Cocoa
  • 4 whole Eggs, Hand Beaten
  • 1-½ cup Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • _____
  • FOR THE FROSTING:
  • ¾ cups Butter
  • 1 pound Powdered Sugar
  • 3 teaspoons Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract (Please Do Not Use Mint, That Makes Them Taste Like Toothpaste, Make Sure It Is Peppermint!)
  • 3 drops Green Food Coloring
  • _____
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • ½ cups Milk Chocolate Chips

Preparation

For the brownies, melt sugar, butter, and cocoa together in the microwave. Stir to combine and then cool slightly. Add eggs, flour, and salt and stir to combine. Bake in a 9×13″ pan in a 350ºF oven for 25 minutes.

Cool completely before frosting.

For the frosting, mix ingredients together with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy. Frost cool brownies.

For the topping, melt chocolate chips. Place melted chocolate in a Ziploc bag, twist closed, and cut a small hole in the corner of the bag and drizzle the chocolate over the brownies.

I really like my mint brownies cold. That is just me, but they are really good with the mint frosting a little bit more firm. Yummy!
