Description

Warm mini donut cupcakes rolled in cinnamon and sugar!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Duncan Hines Classic Yellow Cake Mix, 18 Ounce Box
  • 1-⅓ cup Water
  • ⅓ cups Vegetable Oil
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • ½ Tablespoons Ground Nutmeg
  • 1-½ cup Sugar
  • 1-½ cup Ground Cinnamon

Preparation

1) Empty cake mix into mixer bowl.

2) Using your mixer, add in the water, oil, eggs and nutmeg and thoroughly combine.

3) Sniff your bowl and smile.

4) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

5) Grease mini cupcake/muffin pans generously
*No cupcake liners!

6) Pour batter into the muffin molds.

7) While cupcakes aka donuts aka docups are baking, mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl.

8) Roll warm cupcakes into cinnamon/sugar mixture.

All done!

*You can also make a glaze if you like – and that would be totally awesome of you.

Nati – I made these as a Valentine’s “treat” for my daycare children and they got rave reviews!! I had quite a few left over and froze them…..just as good as fresh if you microwave a plate of them for about 10 seconds! Thanks for sharing your recipe!
