It is known that men love chocolate chip cookies. They have found their chosen one. This is it.
Note: I highly suggest using the best quality ingredients you can. Good quality ingredients yield good quality cookies–there is a huge difference. I do not use store-brand ingredients for this recipe.
1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.
2. Thoroughly sift dry ingredients into large bowl. Set aside.
3. Using a mixer, beat butter, sugars, egg and vanilla until creamy. Do not overmix.
4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the mixture at a slow speed. Once it is all combined, speed up mixer speed to medium until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed forming a soft dough. Use a spatula to scrape the bowl if needed.
5. Manually mix in the chocolate chips until they are well dispersed throughout dough.
6. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet (12 each sheet) and bake 10-11 minutes until golden (not golden-brown).
7. Let cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before removing. Enjoy!
