Description

Brownies that yell for a hot cup of coffee and warm blanket.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups Flour, Sifted
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 10 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1-¼ cup Sugar
  • ¾ cups Dark Cocoa Powder
  • ¼ cups Powdered Sugar

Preparation

Turn oven to 325F and let it heat up. Line the bottom of a small brownie baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.

In a small bowl sift your flour. Then, add salt and set aside.

In another small bowl add eggs and vanilla and set aside.

Cut butter into small little pieces and add it to a small pot over the stove top for browning. Heat butter over medium-high heat stir constantly until butter browns (about 3-4 minutes). Then add in sugar and stir until well combined. Add in dark cocoa powder and stir until fully combined. Remove pot from stove top and allow to cool down a little.

Slowly add in the eggs/vanilla mixture, stirring as you pour them in to keep that egg from cooking too fast. Stir until fully combined. Slowly pour in flour/salt mixture stirring until combined.

Pour batter into parchment lined baking dish and cook for 20- 25 minutes.

Remove from heat and sift powdered sugar over top – then serve.

Tip: Save time and money by making your own powdered sugar. You can do this by simply putting your everyday sugar into a blender and blending until fully powdered.
