Description

Who doesn’t love malted milk?

Ingredients

  • ½ pounds, 2-⅝ ounces, weight Milk Chocolate, Broken Into Pieces
  • 3-⅝ ounces, weight Plain/semi-sweet Chocolate (about 50% Cocoa Solids), Broken Into Pieces
  • ¾ pounds, 2 ounces, weight Condensed Milk
  • 2-⅛ ounces, weight Butter, Cut Into Chunks
  • 3 Tablespoons Horlicks Powder
  • 3-⅝ ounces, weight Maltesers Or Whoppers

Preparation

Lightly grease and line a 23cm square tin.

In a large pan, melt the chocolate, condensed milk, butter and Horlicks powder over low heat. Stir until you have a smooth mixture. The mixture should come away from the pan quite easily. It looks a bit like a funny slime monster. A yummy, funny slime monster.

Pour and scrape the mixture into the tin. Scatter the Maltesers over the top and gently press them into the fudge a teeny bit. Chill for a few hours until firm (I put mine in the fridge overnight). Cut into squares. Marvel at how little it now resembles a monster.
