A fun twist on a classic cookie recipe!

These are the quintessential, hot from the oven, chewy, buttery, full-of-stuff cookie. They offer the added element of crunch and a little twist from the toffee bits. As the saying goes, bet you can’t eat just one!

A crunchier version of a Pecan Sandie, these are scrumptious and very adult, considering their simple snack food “secret ingredient”.

These cookies are moist and chewy, almost caky but not quite, and chocolaty. Just amazing!

Chocolate almond cookies (gluten free): a healthier substitution to the store-bought chocolate candy.

I was so intrigued by this recipe because it sounded so simple – almost too simple – with so few ingredients. I gave it a try tonight and it really does work. It looks like a peanut butter cookie, it tastes like a peanut butter cookie….it must be a peanut butter cookie! I wouldn’t say they’re the “best” PB cookies I’ve ever eaten, but they are SO easy and quick to make, there are times when this recipe will come in handy. And no complicated math to figure out if you want to double or triple the recipe. Great recipe for bachelors or anyone who thinks they can’t bake!

Made these before & they are o.k.

A warning… do not use natural peanut butter. I would use JIF or the like for these cookies the nest time around. I used what we had on hand, not knowing that it would make a difference in the cookies.
With natural PB, it has ALL of the peanut oil in it and it tends to separate. I had the cookies flooding the cookie sheet with Peanut oil!
I also added Vanilla and chocolate chips… and I might put in a little Baking Powder next time to make it a little lighter of a cookie… We’ll see…

I’ve made these before and I love them. Great for people who can’t have wheat.

Thses are great. My mum actually gave me this recipe a while back and I made them. Who would have thought they’d work with only three ingredients.

I’m so happy to see that somebody else makes these. This recipe has been passed down from at least my Grandma, maybe further back.

These are my brother’s favorite cookies, he asks me to make them every time he comes over, and it’s great because we always have the ingredients! Sometimes I add a little vanilla and honey.

I just made these and they were delicious and SOOO easy! I used chunky peanut butter which added a fun texture and would definitely make them again.
Thanks redfeathers for sharing!
