I absolutely adore macadamia nuts above all other nuts. When I visit Hawaii, I always bring a tote back of these buttery salty nuts. However, when I want to escape to the tropics without flying, I whip up a batch of these babies and I’m transported there.
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and white/brown sugars until fluffy.
3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until incorporated.
4. Add flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nuts, and white chips until fully incorporated.
5. Drop cookies with a small cookie scoop onto un-greased parchment-lined cookie sheet.
6. Bake for approximately 8 minutes. Allow to cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack.
