Lemon Poke Cake

Description
My brother gave me this recipe he got from a co-worker years ago. It’s a rich moist cake with a lemon glaze that you pour over the holes you poke into the top. My #2 son requests this for his birthday cake every year.
Ingredients
- 1 package Yellow Or Lemon Cake Mix
- 1 package 3 Oz. Dry Lemon Jello
- ¾ cups Vegetable Oil
- ¾ cups Water
- 4 whole Eggs
- _____
- ½ cups Lemon Juice
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
Preparation
Mix cake mix, Jello powder, oil, water, and eggs for four minutes.
Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes, or until the middle stops jiggling.
Let cool, then use dinner fork to poke holes about every inch of the cake.
Blend lemon juice and powdered sugar and pour over cake. Receive compliments graciously.
