Fabulous cookies. The recipe made alot. I’m boxing several dozen for gifts. I especially enjoyed pounding the candies as I had a tough day and that felt really good. Thank you for sharing.

I made these to take with us to Grandma’s for the 4rth of July. The were a huge hit and down right the best lemon cookies I’ve ever eaten. Yummm-o!

These were simiply irresistibly delicious and addicting! Thank you SO much for sharing. I added lemon juice to dough and think I will add some zest to the glaze.

My family is eating these as fast as I get them out of the oven – we love them! Great lemon taste. The only problem I had was finding lemon drops – couldn’t find the old fashioned kind anywhere and ended up usinig Lemonheads. But they worked fine. I wonder if the regular lemon drops might be tarter, tho. But I’ll definitely be making these again.

Very rich I added more lemon extract to the cookies and made the glaze as tart as I could get it but I love lemon. Wonderful recipe though I love the candy in it gives it a bit of a suprise to have the little extra lemon kick when you bite into a piece.
