While these were definitely a treat, I can’t handle too much of their sweetness, so cut them small if you’re not into very sweet desserts.
Also, my pan was slightly smaller than 9×13 and it boiled over in my oven – oops! Use the full 9×13 pan.

I took these to a party, and everyone loved them! They’re very rich, but so good!
I baked in a 9×9 pan and cut into 16 pieces. I also used only one bag of caramel (~40 pieces) and it was plenty.

Yes, very rich but very good! Just cut them small and you’re in for a huge treat! Love the layer of chewy carmel in the middle…just put them over the edge, in a good way!

Yum! Easy and delicious! The hardest part was unwrapping the little caramels. I have no patience for such things. But these are worth it!

I loved these- my husband said they should be called diabetes brownies… Definitely sweet. We had them when company came over, and I took the leftovers on little plates to women in the neighborhood, I was very popular after that. The caramel is my favorite part.

I made these for a Mother’s Day Luncheon at school and then I made them for my mother in law and our family for Mother’s Day. These are moist and rich, just the way you like a brownie to be. At my mother in law’s I heated the brownie up and then served it with vanilla ice cream. There were no leftovers. Thankfully, no one got naked!

Everyone in my family loves these Killer Brownies! I baked them in a 9×13” pan and cut them into 24 bars and they were still super rich. I looked at the Dorothy Lane website as well to get ideas for more flavor combinations! Use the “Evil Caramel Sauce” from Sally Darling on here and you won’t be disappointed!

I must start by saying that I’m not a cake mix girl. I don’t like box cakes and think they taste fake. However using the mix in a different way totally worked. My family and coworker loved these:) Thanks for sharing!

I have never thought a chocolate dessert was too rich, but maybe these are a little. They would have been better with about 1/2 the carmel and I wouldn’t have to have unwrapped so many of those little jobbers!

These were so good. Brought them to a work party where we had lots of desserts and so I cut them into 32 pieces and it was the perfect size because they were so rich!

Made these for a birthday at work. They were absolutely amazing. I had a little trouble when flipping the top layer of “brownie” but it didn’t matter how they looked because they tasted awesome. Will make again.

The directions say to remove the brownies from the pan after done baking. This has to be wrong. They surely mean to remove them from the oven, cool to room temp and then refrigerate.
