Description

A student of mine made these amazingly delicious cookies. Even though I had the power of giving him a grade, he wouldn’t give me more than two cookies. These are addictively good.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • 1 stick Butter
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 1 whole Egg
  • ½ cups Hazelnut Spread, Such As Nutella
  • 1-¾ cup Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 9 ounces, weight Chocolate Chips
  • Sugar In The Raw Or Turbinado Sugar

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream vanilla, sugar, butter, brown sugar, egg, and hazelnut spread until incorporated.

In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt and baking soda.

Add flour mixture slowly to the sugar mixture. Add chips.

Using a 1 1/2 ounce scoop, form balls. Roll the dough balls in the raw/turbinado sugar.

Bake for 8-10 minutes.

Eat a bunch and share with your teacher if you bring them to school.

I just made these. They are wonderful! I was looking for a different cookie to make for a sale. But I’m keeping this first batch for myself.
