Description

This recipe killed my beloved stand mixer. I’ve been trying to win a PW giveaway ever since! But they are so delicious, they may (just may) have been worth it!

Ingredients

  • 2-¼ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 sticks Butter, Softened
  • ¾ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (heaping) Vanilla Extract
  • 2 whole Large Eggs
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

2. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together in separate bowl.

3. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large STAND MIXER bowl until creamy.

4. Add eggs, one at a time, being careful not to drop in whatever you used to separate the eggs.

5. Gradually add the flour mixture.

6. Stir in chips.

7. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto a greased baking sheet.

8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.

I store my dough in a large plastic container in the fridge. My husband and I like to eat just a few hot, gooey, fresh cookies at a time so we keep the dough for a while and scoop out as needed.
