Italian Marble Cake

Description
Quick dessert that’s not overly sweet. Great with coffee.
Ingredients
- 1 box Fudge Marble Cake Mix
- 2 cartons 15-16 Oz Ricotta Cheese
- 4 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Powdered Sugar, For Dusting
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F.
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Put in greased 13 x 9 pan, but do not bake yet.
Mix ricotta cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla together. With a large spoon, spread cheese mixture over the top of the cake batter. (It will sink into the batter in places.) Cover the entire surface.
Bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Let cool and dust with some powdered sugar before serving.
Keep leftovers in the refrigerator.
