Description

This is one of my favorite recipes from when I was a kid. I loved it when my mom made these special treats for us. Now I’m all grown up and I still love these yummt treats and cannot wait to make them for my own children someday.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (18.25 Oz. Box) Cake Mix
  • Water, Eggs, Oil (as Called For On Box)
  • 24 whole Ice Cream Cones, Flat-bottomed
  • 1 container (12 To 16 Oz. Container) Frosting

Preparation

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Make cake batter as directed on box (you’ll typically need water, eggs, and oil, as directed in mix package). Fill each cone 2/3 full of batter (1 heaping tablespoon each). Place cones on cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the cake comes out clean (cones may tilt on batter). Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Generously frost cake with frosting, and decorate as desired. Store loosely covered.
