Description

Sweet and syrupy, pour these wet walnuts over your favorite ice cream for a special treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Honey
  • ¼ cups Maple Syrup
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 pinch Ground Ginger
  • 1 pinch Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 cups Chopped Walnuts

Preparation

Whisk all of the ingredients except the walnuts in a medium saucepan until combined. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Once the syrup reaches a boil, stir in the walnuts, and cook for 4 minutes, stirring the walnuts occasionally.

Let the wet walnuts cool slightly, then store them in a glass container. Refrigerate overnight, and enjoy!
