Homemade Peppermint Ice Cream

Description
A great recipe to give as a gift or to make up ahead of time for no muss no fuss holiday entertaining!
Ingredients
- 2-½ cups Milk
- 2-½ cups Sugar
- ¼ teaspoons Sea Salt
- 2-½ cups Half-and-half
- 5 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Peppermint Torani Syrup
- 2 cups Peppermint Candies, Crushed
Preparation
Heat milk until bubbles form around the pan. Remove milk from heat. Add sugar and salt, stir until dissolved. Stir in half-and-half, whipping cream, vanilla , peppermint syrup, and crushed peppermint candies.
Place into an ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s directions. This is such a versatile recipe! Eventually you will come up with your own variations.
Pour ice cream into individual containers for easy gift giving or for entertaining.
May sprinkle a few extra pieces of crushed peppermint candy to the top to make it look even more adorable!
