Description

Creamy, gooey goodness of chocolate and peanut butter. Easy how-to directions.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 4-½ teaspoons Butter
  • ½ cups Powdered Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips
  • 4 bars (about 1.5 Oz. Bar) Milk Chocolate Candy Bars

Preparation

Fill mini muffin tins with mini paper liners.

In a small bowl, combine half of the peanut butter, butter, confectioner’s sugar and salt until smooth. Set aside.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips, candy bars and remaining peanut butter. Stir until smooth. (This usually takes about 2 minutes.)

Drop teaspoonfuls of chocolate mixture into paper liners. Top each with a scant teaspoonful of the peanut butter mixture (I rolled mine in small balls).

Top each with chocolate mixture to cover. Decorate with sprinkles if desired. Refrigerate until set.

I just made a batch but with a variation. A friend of mine had eaten a peanut butter cup with a candy cane and she swore she made a discovery. So I decided to add mint extract and some very finely chopped up candy canes to the chocolate mixture. They aren’t done setting yet, so I’m not sure of the outcome, but I sure did like licking the chocolate bowl…and the peanut butter bowl for that matter!
