Description

Perhaps one of the most addicting combinations on the planet, chocolate and peanut butter. Save room after dinner, you’ll eat a minimum of three of these!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Crushed Graham Cracker Crumbs (about 1 4.8 Ounce Package)
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ¾ cups Butter, Softened, Almost Melted
  • 12 ounces, weight Package Chocolate Chips (dark Chocolate Is Divine)
  • ¼ cups Butter

Preparation

In a medium sized bowl mix together the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, peanut butter and 3/4 cup softened butter. Press mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan.

Melt chocolate chips and 1/4 cup butter (1 minute in the microwave, stir, then additional 20 second bursts until fully melted). Spread over the peanut butter mixture. Let cool until chocolate hardens. Cut into squares.

Store in the fridge. Or store in the freezer, if you don’t eat them all the first day.

This recipe has been on my “to make” list for ages and I finally decided to make them this evening. I don’t know why I waited so long; they are delicious!

I suggest using a mixer rather than stirring by hand (as I did); it’s hard to truly incorporate all these ingredients and with hand mixing I found small pockets of just peanut butter or graham cracker crumbs, or little balls of powdered sugar in the finished product. Still delicious :-)

Delicious! The recipe was quick and easy to follow. I too used half milk chocolate chips and half dark chocolate chips. Next time I might make a bit more chocolate to have a thicker topping. The peanut butter mixture was a bit crumbly when I put it in the pan, but it packed down nicely. The chocolate topping was quite thick, but I didn’t have any difficulties spreading it. Oh, and they are delightfully easy to cut and get out of the pan! I can’t wait to share these with friends; they will for sure be a hit! Thanks for sharing!

These are delicious and very quick to make! I like some crunch in my food, so I used half chunky and half smooth peanut butter and they turned out great!

My teenage son made these in a snap. He was so surprised how easy they were to make. They seemed just like the candy he craves, without the high fructose corn syrup he can’t have.
