Description

A favorite summertime treat but we love it all year long.
Thanks to Lilian for this yummy treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix, 18 Ounce Box
  • Additional Items Required For The Cake Mix (typically Water, Eggs And Oil)
  • 2 boxes Vanilla Instant Pudding, 5 Ounce Boxes
  • Additional Items Required For Pudding (Milk)
  • 1 whole Bananas, Sliced (can Use 1 More If Desired)
  • 12 whole Strawberries, Sliced
  • 4 whole Kiwis, Peeled And Sliced
  • 1 container Cool Whip, Thawed (12 Ounce Size)

Preparation

Prepare and bake cake as directed on package. Let cool and slice thin.

Mix pudding as directed on package, refrigerate until ready.

Start dessert by layering a slice of cake on bottom of a trifle bowl.

Top with vanilla pudding; then add slices of banana, kiwi, and strawberries.

Now layer another piece of cake on top. Next, add some Cool Whip, and more fruit slices.

Layer another slice of cake, add pudding, bananas, kiwis and strawberries.

Another slice of cake and more sliced fruit.

Finish this beauty by adding Cool Whip and garnish with additional fruit as desired.

Chill for 3-4 hours.

Just have fun with this! Layer as you wish!

Note: You can also use “real cream”, whipping it to thicken to spreading consistency. This is what we did but Cool Whip works great too.
