Description

This pie has it all. . .crunch, sweetness and chocolate! It’s simple and easy and tastes wonderful with a scoop of ice cream!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Butter
  • ½ cups Packed Light Brown Sugar
  • ¾ cups Light Corn Syrup
  • ⅛ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 whole Eggs, Beaten
  • ¾ cups Oats 'n Honey Granola Bars, Crushed (approximately 4 Bars)
  • 1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
  • ½ cups Quick Cooking Oats
  • 1 whole Unbaked Pie Crust

Preparation

In a large microwavable bowl, microwave butter on high 50 to 60 seconds until melted. Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup until blended. Beat in salt, vanilla & eggs.

Crush the Oats ‘n Honey Granola Bars (usually 4 bars equals 3/4 cup). I crush mine with the smooth edge of a meat tenderizer. Add that to the wet ingredients and then stir in the remaining filling ingredients.

Pour the filling into your unbaked pie crust. Cover crust edges with 2 to 3 inches wide strips of foil. Remove the foil the last 15 minutes of bake time.

Bake pie 40 to 50 minutes at 350.

Just made this pie and it was delicious!! Would definitely make again. I always have these granola bars on hand and never thought of putting them in a pie.
